It’s no surprise I have a weakness for capsule minimal looks when it comes to curating my closet. Currently my spring cravings are full of ruffles, boho hats, light florals and lace-ups…… My newest obsession is just as flowy, lightweight and feminine for this summer season.

The pretty  lightweight mesh summer knits have caught my eye this year. I have many breezy looks to share with you in upcoming posts and I have to say these sweaters are really versatile. They can also work like perfect beach cover-ups or you can throw them on your swimsuits for evening BBQs 🙂

This look features Free People cardigan which looks great with a simple basic tanktop underneath, embracing the see through details.  I really like to play with the the oversized look  – that is why I ordered large (I normally wear XS,S). I would recommend to wear more fitted top underneath (I chose black for the contrast), paired with distressed jeans or jean shorts and summer espadrilles.

Check my favourite summer knit finds just below!

I love knits during summer, they work well, especially in photoshoots. But I love them on others. I just can’t: too hot! Your longline cardigan is really pretty btw! Love the minimal look

I love knits too ❤️ but always find them a little too warm to wear in tropical climates like Singapore.. the lightweight mesh summer knot looks FAB on u ~ perhaps I should consider getting one too! ?

I love your cardigan! I’ve heard such great things about Free People cardigans and sweaters, but have yet to try them myself. I love the ones from True Religion, but I’ll have to give Free People a try! You made a great point, they can not only make great addicts to your outfit, but can serve as a cute beach coverup, too! Thanks for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far!

A flowy cardigan is such a must for me in Spring. Especially with the icky weather we’ve been having with constant rain and cold! I always love visiting your blog because it’s giving me inspiration for what to wear when I visit next month!

Wearing knits in summer is so smart! You never know when it could get cold in the morning and evening — always smart to layer and the purse is so dreamy!

I love the long line knit and like what you have so correctly mentioned, it is perfect for every occasion from a walk in the park to as a beach cover up.
